We also maintain an inventory of gloss, matte and uncoated text stocks for traditional multi-page letters, flyers and brochures.
We can offer several strategies for printing your project depending on quantity and whether or not exact color matching is critical to your project. When precise color matching is imperative, we will likely recommend our conventional print production. Plus, if the run is large and time is short, conventional printing allows us to lay down an overall aqueous coating which locks the ink in place immediately and makes the need for drying time immaterial to the completion of your project. That allows us to begin cutting and folding your job almost immediately as it comes off the press.
By the way, we are not limited to printing mail pieces. In fact, we regularly produce many other types of print projects that never find their way into anyone’s mailbox. But since we’re basic in mailing production, it often makes sense for us to coordinate the printing for our client’s mail pieces.
Since we are well-acquainted with the US Postal Service regulations that need to be followed in order to get you the maximum postal discounts available, we will sometimes make suggestions in terms of the size of a mailpiece, it’s shape, or the weight of the paper you may be considering using so that you are not penalized because a particular Postal regulation was not met. We can’t begin to list all of the small changes we’ve suggested files or recommended in terms of paper weight, indicia placement, wafer seal application, etc. that have our clients’ consider to make to satisfy USPS standards.
